How were you able to adapt during COVID-19 when the meeting and events industry got disrupted?

Our company took a very cautious approach to COVID-19 and we cancelled all meetings and incentive trips through August 1, 2021. Luckily, we have great relationships with our hotel partners, and we were mostly able to cancel at no penalty and roll our deposits forward with a promise of rebooking with them. We are slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and have received a lot of requests from our associates and customers to start traveling again in-person this Fall and Spring of 2022. I think everyone is ready to reconnect again and our industry is coming back to life!

This post is part of the HopSkip Planner Spotlight Series where we celebrate the positivity and optimism shown by planners across the industry when navigating the turbulent waters that COVID-19 has brought the meetings and events industry.   Keep an eye out as we release more stories like this over the next few months.
