Years of Experience: 15

How were you able to adapt during COVID-19 when the meeting and events industry got disrupted?

We moved to smaller virtual meetings. My role also expanded into social media/digital marketing and so took more courses in these areas and am in the process of launching a Content Creator Program with over 500+Artists.

As a planner, what was the number one thing you learned over the past year?

The number one thing I learned is resiliency.

Is there anything you are changing in your planning process moving forward as a result of the pandemic?

I think moving forward we will be more thoughtful in our meetings, looking at how we are engaging attendees, the importance to content and level of engagement that will be important to our audience.
