Name: Vicki Johnson
Company Name: Vicki Johnson & Associates, LLC
Job Title: Principal
Years of Experience: 36 years
How were you able to adapt during COVID-19 when the meeting and events industry got disrupted?
I evaluated what core values we brought to our clients and what they would need from us during COVID, aligned them, and then focused on offering what services and support would be most valuable to them and advantageous to us in order to remain financially stable.
As a planner, what was the number one thing you learned over the past year?
That every organization's "pain points" were different, that even though we were all going thru the same crisis, our issues, our challenges, and how we would adapt to all of it was exceptionally different.
Is there anything you are changing in your planning process moving forward as a result of the pandemic?
We have always offered a very "concierge" type of service that focuses on what the clients needs are, as well as our support and recommendations from our years of experience, but we are now even more focused on being strategic partners to our clients for every aspect of their programs and conferences.
