HopSkip April 2021 Market Analysis:

~ 58% of planners have an RFP in progress for an event between Q2'21-Q4'21

What this tells us:

Confidence continues to increase across the planner community.  As the majority of the population gets vaccinated, we expect the second half of 2021 to continue to increase in the amount of RFPs in progress. 

 

~ Florida and Texas make up 31% of the top 20 destinations where face to face events will take place this year

What this tells us:
Planners want to have their meetings and events in states that are open and want to mitigate any risk from state or county restrictions.

 

~ Planners expectations for the success of their virtual events remains consistently low

What this tells us:

As you can see since October 2020 the expectations planners have for the success of their virtual events is consistently declining but now that planners are starting to do fewer virtual events, it's mostly like the reason confidence has in them has grown slightly.
