Planners are approaching contracts very delicately as they have felt the financial penalties from cancellations due to covid-19.

69% of hoteliers say that agreeing on contract terms/clauses is currently their top challenge when contracting events today with planners

What this tells us:

Hotels have also been severely impacted financially by event cancellations so it's very important for planners and hoteliers to approach the contracting conversation as a win-win partnership rather than one party walking away feeling like they've won the contract negotiations.
