What this tells us:
In the Top 25 Markets, the week’s workdays averaged 60% occupancy for the week ending October 23rd.
Occupancy is starting to come back for business travel. This is still well below the 2019 benchmark but trending in the right direction
70% of attendees are more likely to go to an event if proof of vaccination and/or Covid tests are required, but fewer than 50% of planners intend to implement these protocols.
What this tells us:
Attendees feel safer knowing that vaccines and testing are required. However, the majority of planners are not looking to implement these requirements at their events due to the response it might invoke from their stakeholders.
