Job Title: Event Planner
Years of Experience: 5+
How do you think you are positioned, after months of persevering with the pandemic, to take advantage of our new and disrupted meetings/events landscape?
I'm optimistic about the future landscape for events and meetings. We can only persevere from here. Professionally I am positioned in a space where I am fully supported by my company, my clients trust me and always bring me back business.
As our community moves forward with planning in person meetings, what new technologies or processes are you implementing that you may have not looked at before?
A new payment process that makes it convenient for clients to access, virtual events that are interactive and physical but mainly more engaging, a peace of mind by creating Covid safety measures that will allow a efficient streamline, making Covid safety measures a part of the interactive fun.
As we see virtual meetings transition back to face to face, hybrid meetings are beginning to be the vehicle to return to normalcy. What are your thoughts on hybrid meetings versus traditional fully in person meetings?
Although hybrid meetings are convenient, traditional fully in person meetings retain a face to face connection that is incomparable, something about meeting people in person can make a world of a difference. People are meant to gather.
In your opinion, what do you think the biggest value for your attendees is in regards to returning to live events?
My hope is that every attendee will take away some type of value, by being able to find options for all attendees and individualizing the experience. This is key as we move forward to 2022.
As the pandemic fades away and we return to face-to-face events what do you hope changes, either for planners or hoteliers, in the traditional RFP and proposal process as a result of all of the learnings from the last 20+ months?
Some grace, event planners and hoteliers have gone through some great challenges.
