HopSkip March 2021 Market Analysis:
~ Shifting to virtual events, and ensuring appropriate contract language was used in the hotel agreement were the top two obstacles faced by planners over this past year

What this tells us:
The shift to virtual was not easy but contract terminology still remains a challenge for planners. As the industry begins to shift back into the face-to-face events world, the contracting phase of the events sourcing process will continue to be a key area of focus.
~ 70% of planners expect to resume operating their face-to-face events between Q2'2021 and Q4'2021

What this tells us:
Planners confidence levels are continuing to increase when it comes to resuming their live events. We expect to see this number climb even more over this timeframe, during the next four to eight weeks.
~ 86% of planners said availability of vaccine and other therapeutics for COVID-19 was the biggest factor influencing the planning of future face-to-face events

Health and safety is number one priority. Vaccination rollout and vaccine administration is critical. However, ensuring the right safety requirements are put in place during the actual event are just as important..
